Laton High School-Expanded Learning Program<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Laton High School\u2019s Expanded Learning Program provides students with academic support, college and career readiness and enrichment activities aimed to teach valuable life skills to students in a fun and engaging environment.\u00a0 The ELP staff believes this is necessary to promote the educational, career and social\/emotional development of all Laton High School students. Our goal is to provide students with unique opportunities to learn industry focused skills and opportunities to earn industry recognized certificates which can lead to successful career planning.<\/p>

We also aim to encourage parents and other stakeholders to actively participate in various aspects of the our Expanded Learning Program activities in order to improve Laton High School community. Our goal is to ensure all students are prepared and empowered to be successful, self-reliant, self sufficient and contributing members of society.<\/p>

We believe our Extended Learning Program\u2019s activities allows students to develop a unique range of specialized skills and life skills which are taught by industry professionals, educators and community members who are passionate about serving students. Our activities are steered by quality standards which include Social Emotional Learning Standards, Career Ready Practice Standards and California Common Core Standards.<\/p>

Our enrichment activities challenge students\u2019 to be engaged in a multitude of ways with hopes of promoting student responsibility to become life long learners and active members of their community<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
