Ms. Garcia
Shark Island Expanded Learning Site Lead
Hello Steinbeck Sharks!
My name is Adriana Garcia and I am your Shark Island Site Lead. I have been lucky enough to be a shark for more than six years, serving as a program leader and now as the program coordinator. I recently graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology and Chicano Studies. I hope to work in non-profit organizations aimed toward promoting student success. I love working in expanded learning education where we get to see students grow and thrive from the opportunities we get to provide! In my free time I love to be outdoors, taking walks at the park and traveling. I look forward to meeting all of our students. Go Sharks!

My name is Ms. Kohin and I am your 5th and 6th grade program leader at Shark Island! I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Minnesota State University, Mankato! I have so much passion for education our youth and leading the future! I hope to become a Dean of Students at a higher education institution. During my free time I like to cook, read, sing, and be adventurous!
