Laton High School was the first ELP to offer a certified Drone Pilot Enrichment Activity. Growth Point Technology was the vendor who sponsored the enrichment. Students were able to learn about FFA regulations, log flight hours, learn how to fly a drone, and attend a worksite tour at the Monterey Dunes. Later, we added drone photgraphy to the drone class where students learned how to use the drone to take specacular photos.  Laton High School ELP had one student become a Certified Licensed Drone Pilot who later became an paid interns to teach other high school students about drone piloting during the summer of 2022.
