Saroyan Elementary Expanded Learning Program
At Stallion Academy, we strive to provide learning opportunities and experiences that are hands-on, project-based, and supportive of their academic success. The program maintains high expectations for all students, intentionally links program goals and curricula with 21st-century skills and provides activities to help students achieve mastery. Activities reflect active, meaningful and engaging learning methods that promote collaboration and expand student horizons. Academy has four main elements of program, including daily academic support in core subject areas and homework assistance, rotating enrichments, a free daily snack, and weekly physical activity clubs. Enrichment classes include but are not limited to; arts, intramural sports, health and fitness, foreign language, and nutrition. Students take surveys to gather information on their interests and foster youth voice and leadership so that students take ownership of their program.
