Big Brother boxing provides world class boxing instruction to individuals of all ages, gender and skill level/experience. We provide a welcoming and approachable environment for our members. Whether you don't know the difference between a jab or a cross or if you're an amateur fighter looking at joining a new team, Big Brother Boxing has something for you.
The program offers a rigorous yet joyful music-making experience that stretches mind-body coordination celebrates diversity and builds confidence backed by capacity. Giant instruments, earth-shaking sounds, and virtuosic playing combine into a music program that kids just can’t get enough of. We offer a joyful music-making experience for children and teens in a social environment that stretches mind. Founded at Loma Vista Immersion Academy in Petaluma by school principal Jorge Arvizu and musician Tobias Sparks, our program started in 2016.
Provide mentorship and education in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (S.T.E.M. and S.T.E.A.M.) We serve teens and young adults with an emphasis on minorities and girls to equip them with the tools and knowledge so they may have fair opportunities to pursue careers in technology and the digital arts.
Not only do our robotics programs help to establish science, technology, engineering, and math concepts, they also work to build on students’ team-building skills as they work to complete fun challenges. These collaborative skills are essential for student success, no matter what subject they choose to pursue in the future; Many other advantages include: Improved creative thinking skills Improved social skills Improved problem-solving skills Improved computer programming skills
Students are able to attend our Saturday Academies where they will be able to participate in many enrichments; Art, DIY, Virtual Games, & more. Students will also receive an hour of ELA/Math instructional workshops with teachers from the regular day. This will ensure that your child is not falling behind and is also getting extra practice with regular day school academics.
