La Programa de Aprendizaje Expandido de la Primaria de Cesar E. Chavez se orgullece anunciar que nuestra escuela organizará una Programa de Escuela de Verano en persona a partir del 22 de junio de 2021. Los estudiantes que participan en nuestra programa de escuela de verano tendrán una gran cantidad de enriquecimientos activas y atractivas para explorar. Los estudiantes también tendrán la oportunidad de revisar y reforzar las materias básicas como Matemáticas y Artes del Lenguaje Inglés, que son importantes y quizas pueden necesitar apoyo adicional debido a la pandemia de COVID. Las clases serán en persona y tambien desponibles virtualmente para adaptarse a las necesidades de su hijo. Las inscripciones ya están abiertas para todos los estudiantes actuales de 1º a 5º grado de la Primaria Cesar E. Chavez. The Cesar E. Chavez Elementary Expanded Learning Program is proud to announce that our school will be hosting a Summer School Program on-site starting on June 22nd, 2021. Students who participate in our summer school program will have a plethora of active and engaging enrichment activities to explore. Students will also as have an opportunity to review and reinforce the core subjects like Mathematics and English Language Arts which they may need extra support because of the COVID pandemic. Classes will be held in person and virtually to accommodate your child’s needs and in accordance with CDC guidelines. Registration is now open to all current Cesar E. Chavez Elementary 1st-5th grade students. Please use the registration links down below to reserve your child’s spot today. Once your application is reviewed and accepted the Site Lead will inform you and your child via email. We look forwards to ensuring your child’s summer is filled with knowledge and amazing enrichment activities.

Boxing Club
Big Brother boxing provides world class boxing instruction to individuals of all ages, gender and skill level/experience. We provide a welcoming and approachable environment for our members. Whether you don't know the difference between a jab or a cross or if you're an amateur fighter looking at joining a new team, Big Brother Boxing has something for you.
Marimba
The program offers a rigorous yet joyful music-making experience that stretches mind-body coordination celebrates diversity and builds confidence backed by capacity. Giant instruments, earth-shaking sounds, and virtuosic playing combine into a music program that kids just can’t get enough of. We offer a joyful music-making experience for children and teens in a social environment that stretches mind. Founded at Loma Vista Immersion Academy in Petaluma by school principal Jorge Arvizu and musician Tobias Sparks, our program started in 2016.
STEAM
Provide mentorship and education in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (S.T.E.M. and S.T.E.A.M.) We serve teens and young adults with an emphasis on minorities and girls to equip them with the tools and knowledge so they may have fair opportunities to pursue careers in technology and the digital arts.
Robotics
Not only do our robotics programs help to establish science, technology, engineering, and math concepts, they also work to build on students’ team-building skills as they work to complete fun challenges. These collaborative skills are essential for student success, no matter what subject they choose to pursue in the future; Many other advantages include: Improved creative thinking skills Improved social skills Improved problem-solving skills Improved computer programming skills
Teacher Workshops
Teachers will be meeting with students to go over and review areas of weaknesses to cover the time missed due to the pandemic.
Sports
Students are able to participate in PASS sports, please see office schedules.
Science Lab
Students participate in awesome science experiments and learn about various areas of science.
Arts & Crafts
Students learn art a wide variety of art projects. They create masterpieces to take home and enjoy!
Reading
Students are allotted 55 min. a day to practice and hone their reading skills. Program will provide each student a book that will be read over the summer.
Writing
Students are taught basic to advanced writing styles and techniques. Students will practice the skills and techniques that are used on a daily basis.
Math
Students are able to practice and use basic to advanced arithmetic skills. Teachers
English
Students learn and practice basic, intermediate, and advanced English.
Communication
Students are able to practice their communication skills, one on one, group, class presentations
Field Trips
Trips that expand learning; allow students to explore new places while making lasting memories.
WIFI
Students are able to use our schools internet to complete homework assignments and learn new hobbies.
Coding
Students learn the basics about coding and learn about future career paths.
